Invasion of the Ladybug Imposters

We finally moved into our Little House. It rained the first week, but then the sun broke through the clouds and insects swarmed in the waning warmth of early fall. Honey-bees drunkenly buzzed around the garden’s last buds, red and black wasps floated in and out of the opened doorways, and Yellow-jackets strafed us every chance they got, but it was the invasion of the Ladybug imposters that caused the problem.
