MABEE-GERRER MUSEUM OF ART — “Jesse Rieser: Christmas in America” will be on display through Jan. 27. The museum is located at 1900 W. MacArthur St. in Shawnee and is open from 10 am to 5 pm Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 pm on Sundays. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors age 65 or older, $3 for students and children ages 6 to 17, and free for children age 5 and younger.

Tecumseh HISTORICAL SOCIETY MUSEUM — Open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays. Stop in to see the exhibits on Tecumseh’s history.

LDS GENEALOGY LIBRARY — Open Mon.-Thurs., 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and Tuesday evenings 6-8:30 p.m., 1501 E. Independence, Shawnee. Open to the public at no charge.

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY MUSEUM — Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.

DAV HELP — Disabled American Veterans Chapter 54, Shawnee. Service officers are available every Tuesday and Thursday at 412 E. Main, Shawnee, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to assist veterans with disability benefits. No appointment necessary. Free. 405-275-6955
