Lady Wildcats Lose 47-41 To Harrah

.500 was the Bethel Lady Wildcats' win percentage going into Christmas break and 2019. 2-1 was their record in district play.

Both were put on the line as they hosted district foe Harrah Lady Panthers on Jan. 4. After winning the first quarter 12-10, they dropped the second 14-5 which really ended up being the difference in the game, with the Lady Wildcats winning the second half 24-23. Bethel lost its 2019 home opener to the Lady Panthers 47-41. That's the third lowest scoring total Bethel has posted on the season. Bethel is 0-3 when scoring 41 or less.

Harrah's Katie King dropped a twenty-ball plus one as she claimed the scoring high for the game with 21 points. Next up for Harrah was Kambri Ingraham with nine points. Leading lady for Bethel was Laney O'Rorke as she posted 15 points. Kennedy Gregory also found double digits in the scoring column with 13 points. Following O'Rorke and Gregory were Kirsten Winters (5), Kelsie Wood (5), Keagan Engle (2), and Harley Gregory (1).

The Bethel Lady Wildcats take to the road when they travel to McLoud to face the Lady Redskins on Tuesday, Jan. 15. This will be the first of three straight road games for Bethel, two of which will be district opponents. Two of those opponents will also be rematches from earlier in the season. They will not return home until Jan. 29 when they welcome Community Christian of Norman.
