Williams Found Guilty
January 31, 2019
Brooklyn Williams was found guilty of second degree murder Friday by a Pottawatomie County jury which recommended a 25-year sentence. Williams was driving the car in which Byron Shepard, charged with first degree murder in the case, was riding when Tecumseh Police Officer Justin Terney stopped them in March 2017. Shepard ran from the traffic stop and ultimately shot Terney, who died hours later. Shepard's trial is set for the fall of this year.
