PIECING A QUILT — 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Senior Center, 401 N. Bell, Shawnee. The “Just Quilters” group invites anyone interested to join them each week. Lunch is on your own at local restaurants. Attend all day or drop by for a short time.

DAV HELP — Disabled American Veterans Chapter 54, Shawnee. Service officers are available every Tuesday and Thursday at 412 E. Main, Shawnee, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to assist veterans with disability benefits. No appointment necessary. Free. 405-275-6955
