Classes Resume After Fire At Wanette Schools

An asbestos warning and caution tape/danger tape surround the rubble where the vacant cafeteria at Wanette Public Schools burned to the ground March 20.

On Friday, March 29, at 12:30 pm Wanette Schools canceled classes until further notice.

Wanette superintendent Dr. Sylvia McNeely explained in a letter to "parents, guardians and patrons" that there had been a fire on campus March 20 which "'caused significant damage to the old cafeteria/science...
