Tecumseh Looks To 2019-2020

School service, employment contracts approved for coming year

Summer meetings are a breeze at Tecumseh Public Schools.

The school board met Monday to consider a hodge-podge of items and was in and out in fifteen minutes.

The board approved:

• Hiring Kyle Lombardo as the architect for the school farm barn, which is part of the most recent bond issue. Assistant Superintendent Robby Kinsey said Lombardo will meet with Superintendent Tom Wilsie later this week.

• A contract with state Rep. Randy Randleman and School Based Services, PLLC to provide psychological services, evaluations and screenings, consultation and discipline plans and procedures at TPS and Little River Co-Op. The contract amount is $11,419. Rep. Randleman was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives November 2018 and is a licensed psychologist based out of Eufaula.

• Hiring personnel for the 2019-2020 school year under temporary contracts. The new hires are Donald Dees, co-transportation director; Shasta Hardy, bus driver; Yancy Porter, co-transportation director; and Julie Story, Title VI assistant.
