Kylee Akehurst winds up for the pitch in action against Purcell.

The Tecumseh Lady Savages had a very light week before the Labor Day Holiday, including a game lost to the weather.

After Tecumseh beat Bethel on Monday (see last week's Countywide and Sun for story), the T-Town ladies were rained out on Tuesday before falling to Purcell on Thursday to finish the week.

On Thursday, the Lady Savages hosted a very good Lady Dragon team and succumbed in a 10-2 loss. Tecumseh was outhit 17-3 in the loss and were hampered by four errors in the game. The game was tied 2-2 after the opening inning, but the Lady Dragons scored three in the second, two in the fourth and three more in the seventh while holding the Lady Savages scoreless.
