Seventeen Seniors Wrap Up The Regular Season With Wins

The Lady Savage volleyball squad finished off with two straight wins, including the final home game for 17 seniors, before they begin 4A Regional play this week.

Last Tuesday at St. Gregory's, the Lady Savages' home court this season, 17 seniors and families were introduced and then the team celebrated with a straight set, 3-0 win over Liberty Academy. On Thursday, the Lady Savages faced Chickasha and again swept the sets with a 3-0 win.

Over the two-game stretch, the Lady Savages' Bailey Swanner was the kill leader with 16 kills. Emmy Ridley was the stalwart on defense with 36 digs and Skye Branham led the way with 10 points scored off serve.

The Lady Savages (19-11) travel to Regent Prep in Tulsa today (Thursday) for the Regional Tournament. Tecumseh is scheduled to play in the second match at 6 pm as they meet Catoosa. The winner of that match will meet the winner of Regent Prep and Tulsa Mclain. The winner of the Regional will advance to the State Tournament.
