Cross Timbers Students Transform Sidewalks Into Art
Over 400 Tecumseh Cross Timbers Elementary School students worked for three days to turn their sidewalk into a work of chalk art. Then, they participated in a scavenger hunt with items in the artwork. This was an activity brought to them by Iva Bingham, who is the Activity Director for the STEAM Center at Krouch Elementary School.
The sidewalk around the Cross Timbers Elementary School sign and tree area, in Tecumseh, has been transformed into a long quilt made from chalk.
Lisa Thompson, Dean of Students at Cross Timbers, said, "Each student worked on it, if they were here."
