PCDA Discusses Water For New Housing Addition In Bethel
December 17, 2020
The county assisted with ice storm cleanup at Wes Watkins reservoir by providing equipment.
The City of McLoud was able to use a wood chipper to clean up in various areas available for public access. PCDA Project Manager Steve Shultz said he had the use of a track steer with a hydraulic grappler. He said he spent three days on the fence line moving trees.
"I'm greatly appreciative of the county for letting us use that piece of equipment." Shultz said he is finishing up minor cleanup with a chainsaw.
CLM Construction co-owner Blake Freeman and chief financial officer Brian Lamey addressed the board regarding the proposed Cedar Ridge development.
Lamey said the business historically works in the natural gas construction industry. "This is our first venture into real estate market."
The proposed addition will contain 16 lots on Waco Road just north of Bethel Road. Lamey said after initial clearing and dirt work, CLM will be able to begin home construction in August 2021.
The board also approved meeting dates for 2021 as well as paid holidays for employees for the upcoming year.
The board will hold its first meeting of 2021 on Thursday, Jan. 14.
