Shawnee Board Approves New Assistant Superintendent

Clif Harden officially takes the Oath of Office, and begins his term in Office 5, from Shawnee Board of Education Clerk, April Stobbe, as Bobby Canty waits his turn at the meeting on April 5. Harden took the oath in January to fill the position left when Board Member Mark Betterton passed away.
The Shawnee Board of Education voted, during an executive session in the April 5 meeting, to hire Dr. Aaron Espolt as the new Assistant Superintendent and Chief Financial Officer. Brent Houston, who currently holds that position, will retire at the end of June, and Espolt will begin in July.
