Miss Oklahoma Tessa Dorrell reads "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" by Eric Carle and Bill Martin, Jr. to children at the Shawnee Public Library on July 29. She also read "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Numeroff and a book about farming handed to her by two-year-old audience member, Terra Hays, of McLoud. Dorrell and her mother, Tami Dorrell, answered questions about pageant life, as well. Before she became Miss Oklahoma in June, Tessa worked as a sideline reporter.
