Baylee Tapley is the state champion for the 1600 meter at the state meet in Catoosa. Tapley finished with a final time of 5:18.84, about five seconds faster than her race in Regionals. She was also Runner-Up in the 800 meter with a final time of 2:19.31.
Potawatomi Fire small forward K.D. Moore jumps up to put in a layup and gets the foul during the May 4 home game against the Enid Outlaws. According to www.potawatomifire.com, Moore made 32 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and two blocks that night. In their 15th straight win this season, the Fire beat the Outlaws, 130-107. SHAWNEE, OK – It was a record-setting night inside FireLake Arena on Saturday as the Fire beat the Enid Outlaws 130-107. “I was really pleased with our energy tonight and the way we started the game,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff.
