Thomas & Barbara Smith are celebrating 50 years of marriage. The Smith’s were married in Carthage, MO July 3, 1972. The couple moved to Shawnee in June of 1972. Together, their family boasts eight children, 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and four great-greatgrandchildren.
