The City Council approved a 5k and 10k walk to be held in Tecumseh on March 11 by the Wander Gruppe Walking Club at their regular meeting on Monday night.
The walk is expected to host around 30 participants from Oklahoma and surrounding states. Event coordinator Leslie Jones said she will encourage participants to spend the day in Tecumseh to explore the city.
