Countywide & Sun is kicking off BINGO. Last week readers found an official BINGO game card inside the issue. The first BINGO numbers can be found throughout this issue of the Countywide & Sun in the following advertisers’ ads: Citizen Potawatomi Nation Cultural Heritage Center Gift Shop, Shawnee Paints, The Farmer’s Daughter Market, The Clinic Pharmacy, and spOKeLAHOMA. Each of the sponsor’s ads will contain at least one BINGO call number (and maybe two call numbers). Nine numbers will be in each issue until all the prize money has been awarded. Patient (and lucky) players will ultimately get the chance to cash in on a $350 prize in the bingo game. “Three hundred-fifty dollars would help a lot of households during the holiday season,” said Countywide & Sun Publisher Suzie Campbell.
When you see a BINGO number in the paper that appears on your card, please mark it in a way that the printed number can be clearly seen. The first person to present a winning BINGO card at the Countywide & Sun office located at 108 E. Washington St. in Tecumseh will be a PRIZE WINNER! This office is open Monday through Thursday; 10 am to 5pm. Prizes will be awarded for the following: First Straight Line wins $25. First Diagonal wins $25. First “C” wins $50. First “S” wins $50. First Blackout wins $350. The game concludes once all cash prizes are awarded. Only one BINGO playing card per person will be available at no charge at the Countywide & Sun office. This is only while supplies last. Numbers will be posted in the office window on Monday, after they appear in the newspaper on Thursday. No numbers will not be released over the phone, on our website, or on social media.
Campbell said, “We’re always looking for ways to involve our readers while promoting our local businesses, and we wanted to give not only our subscribers but our single copy purchasers additional enjoyment over the next couple of months through the paper. We chose bingo because we know it’s popular and an easy game to play.”
Players must be at least 18 years of age to enter. It must be an original BINGO card from the Countywide & Sun to be accepted for validation and to claim any prizes. See the back of the inserted BINGO card for complete details and rules.
