Extreme Animals Visit Tecumseh for Library Program

Knowles said, contrary to the "Madagascar" movie, lemurs are led by females, so "King Julian should be Queen Julia." There are about 60 lemur species in Madagascar, said Knowles, whose grandmother owns the "zoo-to-you" in Tuttle.

Keeley Knowles, a handler with Extreme Animals in Tuttle, spoke about the bearded dragon, blue-tongued skink, albino Burmese python, armadillo, hedgehog and two lemurs before the children lined up.
