Isabella McCoy speaks about her best friend, J-Lynn Haymond, and their first fundraiser, Hoops for Hope, which was held at the Rotary Briscoe Boy Scout Park on July 25. A total of $310 was raised for the American Cancer Society from a 3x3 basketball tournament, a fun run, silent auction and the Cali4Ya LLC taco truck.

In 2020, Isabella McCoy’s best friend, J-Lynn Haymond, was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer after having her son, “Baby” Jordan Haymond, Jr. When she was in remission, Haymond was told she probably couldn’t have any more children.
