The McLoud Chamber of Commerce Chili Cookoff and Salsa Contest was an annual tradition from 1999 to 2019. But, like many events, it never recovered from the pandemic in 2020.
Now, its original founder and coordinator, David Thompson, is working to bring it back.
The revived event will return to the McLoud Festival Grounds at Eighth and Seikel streets on Oct. 10.
