Relay For Life Returns After Covid Causes Two-Year Hiatus

After a “two-year hiatus” due to the pandemic, the Relay for Life was back to raising money for the American Cancer Society in Shawnee. The event was held at the Heart of Oklahoma Conference Center on May 6, and its theme was superheroes.

With the motto “Celebrate, Remember, Fight Back,” Committee Co-Chair Shannon Tiger said this year’s event was in memory of 20-year participant Lanette Sikes.
