Two Shawnee Board of Education members were honored during their last meeting on April 1, after a combined 46 years of serving.
First Vice President Keith Sandlin, in Office 2, said he never thought he would “serve in this capacity.” He began with the board in 2000 after being in charge of the Little League Association for years.
