In an attempt to better the homeless problem in Shawnee, several key members of the community sat down in a work study on Monday, Aug. 7 at Shawnee City Hall.
The City Hall that night was beyond packed. The small room not only had every single seat filled, but residents were lining the walls and standing outside, listening in with eager ears.
