Tecumseh American Legion Holds Flag Day Ceremony

  • Cheryl Cowden, of Shawnee, brings a flag which belonged to her father to be retired, laying it on the pile to be burned, with the assistance of Diana Murray, of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Training Ship Oklahoma. Regional Sea Cadets Director Donna Snodgrass said about 25 flags were retired at the American Legion Hill-Huett Post 260, in Tecumseh, on June 11.
