United In Strength Stroll Reviews Recovery Cooperation

  • About 75 people participated in the United in Strength Stroll on April 19, recognizing the one-year anniversary of the 2023 tornado. Following a proclamation by Shawnee Mayor Ed Bolt and speeches from John Bobb-Semple, of POGO; Heath Thomas, of OBU; Dr. Aaron Espolt, of Shawnee Public Schools; and Sandy Vanderburg, of United Way of Pottawatomie County, they walked from OBU to the YMCA.
