Libraries learn about pollinators, Puerto Rico

  • Candy Sparkles leads a line of children in the "Iggy Shuffle" conga line, as Captain Coconut plays the drums, during "The Dino-Drum Adventure" with The Smartipops, held at Shawnee Public Library on June 12. Attendees learned about Puerto Rican culture, including salsa dancing and the coqui frog. They also learned to play native percussion instruments. Today (June 18), "STEAM Kids - Big Blue Blocks" will be held at 3:30 pm.
