The Bethel Board of Education unanimously approved the hiring of Jerry McCormick as the district’s superintendent for the 2026-2028 school years during Monday night’s meeting, then spent more than 20 minutes debating possible changes to the district’s valedictorian policy before tabling the middle school/high school handbook for further review.
