On Oct. 1, before the home match with Tecumseh, Shawnee junior Molly Megehee was honored for achieving her 1,000th assist in her high school career.
Megehee said, via email, that she actually reached this accomplishment in one of the “first games of the season and had no clue until our game against Tecumseh when it was announced.”
She appreciated her teammates for making the recognition memorable.
