Thomas T. Johnson was born Feb. 27, 1936 in rural Seminole County OK. He passed away Oct. 3, 2026. Thomas graduated from New Lima and attended Seminole State College until his dad was transferred to Ninnekah, OK. by Texas Oil Company. He joined the US Navy before his 31-year career with Tinker Air Force Base. He married Shirley Gottman on Nov. 16, 1966.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Gottman Johnson; parents: Edgar and Ethel Fifer Johnson; sisters: Willie Mae Kezer and Evelyn Godfrey; brother-in-law, John Ray Gottman, Evelyn Gottman Black; and his sister’s husbands: Dearrel Kezer, James (Bob) Godfrey, Elmer Myrick and William (Bill) Brewer.
He was survived by sisters: Benita Myrick and Carolyn Brewer, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Committal Service was held at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, Shawnee, OK on Oct. 8, 2026.
