County 4-H Program Welcomes New Educator

Body

The Pottawatomie County 4-H Program has a busy summer planned with overnight summer camp and State Round Up resuming, along with several local project days and District Events. We are also happy to welcome Erin Roberts to our Extension team as the 4-H Youth Development Extension Educator.

Erin started on May 16, 2022, right after graduation with her master’s degree in Agriculture Leadership from Oklahoma State University. “Erin has been settling in and already caught up on all the summer activities getting ready to start in June,” said Sonya McDaniel, County Extension Director. “She is excited to meet everyone and support our teen and adult leaders.”

Erin comes to Pottawatomie County with a strong background growing up in the 4-H program in Tennessee. She was very active with the Horse Project Club in her county but brings a lot of talent for other interest areas as well.

The Extension Office will be hosting a “Pop in for Popsicles” welcome event for Erin on June 6 th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Everyone is welcome to stop by to meet Erin and welcome her to our community.
