Tecumseh City Council held a special meeting on July 12, 2022, in the City Hall Council Chambers to discuss and vote on two new agenda items.
The council discussed the $600,000.00 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Award for the sewer line replacement project. Following a brief discussion, the council voted to accept the award.
Finally, the council discussed and voted to award the Slick Humphrey Walking Trail Phase 2 bid to OMNI Construction, LLC, as recommended by City Manager Jimmy Stokes. OMNI Construction, LLC presented the lowest bid out of four construction companies at $109,732.88. The other bidders included TriCore Group, LLC at $180,173.41, Utility Field Services, LLC at $197,418.60 and Orr Construction, Inc. at $249,583.50.
The City Council will hold its next meeting on Monday, August 1, 2022, in the City Hall Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
