With Halloween just around the corner, Tecumseh is all set and ready to go! The Tecumseh Chamber of Commerce is hosting the downtown trick-ortreat event on Monday, Oct. 31, from 3:30-5 pm. If you would like your business to participate, go on the Chamber website and fill out the two-question form.
If your business is outside of Tecumseh and you are a chamber member that would like to participate, call the Chamber office at 405-598-8666. There will be treats, but don’t let them trick you, adults. There will be enough for everyone.
The Chamber will also hold its Annual Online Costume Contest, but as they say, “With a few twists.”
The rules are simple: Use the correct hashtag for your photo to be entered into the contest. Make sure your privacy setting is set to public, so you do not miss out on the opportunity to be entered.
Use the following hashtags to be entered into the correct age category. Ages 0-4 years old: #TCHalloweenContest1 Ages 5-11 years old: #TCHalloweenContest2 Ages 12-17: #TCHalloweenContest3 Ages 18+ including adults: #TCHalloweenContest4 Photo may be submitted via hashtag beginning Saturday, Oct. 22 and ending Nov. 2 at 10 pm.
Submitted entries will be posted on the Chamber’s Facebook page on Nov. 4 at noon, and the public can then vote for their choice. Voting will continue until 8 pm Nov. 8.
The winners of each category will be awarded $50 for first place, $25 for second place, and $10 for third place.
