Michael Wayne Berry passed away on January 10, 2023.
Michael was born on August 6, 1959, to Geraldine Knapp and George Berry in Pawnee, Oklahoma. He attended Rose State College and Photography School. He was last employed by the Absentee Shawnee Tribe as an Assistant Manager/IT Analyst.
He is survived by his son, Dakota Berry, sister, Diane Sue Griffin, niece, Corrine Sue Griffin, great niece, Everleigh Blackshire, uncle, Dale Davis, nephew, Craig Griffin, life-long friend and companion, David James, among many others that were fortunate enough to know him and call him “friend.”
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Knapp, grandmother, Josephine Davis, granddad, George W. Davis, great-uncle, Ronald Davis, uncle, Edward Davis, and nephew, Christopher Griffin.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at the Walker Funeral Chapel (201 E. 45th Street, Shawnee, OK) on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 2:00 pm.
