Nancy J. Harris passed away January 17, 2023.
She was born on June 26, 1946 to Marion “Chalmers” and Rachel “Naomi” (Derryberry) Neighbors in Shawnee, OK.
Nancy graduated in 1964 from Shawnee High School. She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Social Services in May 2006.
She worked as a machinist at TDK until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marion “Chalmers” Neighbors; her mother, Rachel “Naomi” Rutledge; sister, Charlene Bunnell; and brothers, C. L. Richards and Robert Richards.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Crystal L. Monaco of Shawnee, OK and Shannon M. Pettus of Navarre, FL; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kevin and Pam Nail of Purcell, OK and David W. Nail of Bullhead City, AZ; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Barbara and Bobby Horn of Tulsa, OK, Martha Richards of Dallas, TX and Roberta Richards of Shawnee, OK; and many loving friends and extended family.
Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
