Shawnee PD Recognized, Tax Revenue Up

    The Shawnee City Commission received good news during the meeting Tuesday, Jan. 17. Sales tax and use tax are up. City Finance Director Lindsay McNabb-Fox reported that, year to date, the city is 14 percent ahead of budget and six percent over this time last year.
