Barton (Bart) Douglas West passed away on Feb. 3, 2023 after a brief illness.
Bart was born on June 23, 1965 in Tulsa,
Oklahoma to Terry and Phyllis (Barclay) West. Bart worked as a paralegal at The West Law Firm for more than 30 years, working daily with his father and brother. He married Kim Cunningham on Mar. 19, 2006.
Bart was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Marie West and George and Katherine Barclay, and his mother, Phyllis.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kim, of the home; his children, daughter, Delanie Canada (husband Jeremiah and granddaughter Macyn), and Talon, Kelby and Tray; his father, Terry West (Marcia), his brother, Brad West (Diane), his sisters Sabrina West and Brigette Parrott (husband Jeff and kids Jaxon and Gabrielle); his aunt Donna Tonubbee (Mike), as well as extended family.
A celebration of Bart’s life will be held on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Welsey United Methodist Church.
