Cleta LaDawn Hollis passed away on April 16, 2023 in Shawnee, OK..
She was born on June 27, 1959 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was dopted by Cleda Dorceal (Hamilton) Mize and Warren Kelley Mize. She attended East Central University in Ada, OK. She married Charles Hollis on June 18, 1982. She was devoted to her work at Sequoyah Elementary having served there in some capacity for almost 30 years.
LaDawn leaves behind her husband and three daughters: Courtney and husband Rev. Matthew Lowry of Oklahoma City, Crystal Hollis of Shawnee, and Callie and husband Zack Sherrill of Yukon. She doted on her 4 grandkids and was looking forward to the 5th.
She is preceded in death by her father Warren Kelley Mize, her stepfather Roy Montgomery, and her mother Dorceal Montgomery.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 20th at 2:00pm in the Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Shawnee. Internment to follow at Johnson Cemetery.
