A tornado tore through Pottawatomie County Wednesday, Apr. 19, leaving massive destruction in its path. The Boom-a-Rang located on MacArthur was in the path and received catastrophic damage, but the nostalgic photos still hang on the wal inside the building. The Stucker Center at Shawnee High School was only one of multiple buildings that received damage. The Ag Barn was completely detroyed and the Jim Thorpe Academy was left unusable at this time.
