Lt. Bob Stewart passed away April 22, 2023.
Bob was born June 26, 1972 to Robert “Bob” and Twila (Kennedy) Stewart in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Bob graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1990.
He worked as a machinist at Eaton Corporation in Shawnee, Reserve Deputy with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office, a K-9 Officer for the Shawnee Police Department and back to Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office where he was currently a Lieutenant.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Meagan Stewart; and father, Bob Stewart.
Those left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Morgan Stewart of Lee’s Summit, MO; his mother, Twila Stewart of Tecumseh, OK; two brothers and one sister-inlaw, Jason and Tracey Stewart of McAlister, OK and Clint Stewart of Earlsboro, OK; one sister, Misty Stewart of Tecumseh, OK; and his beloved pet, “Dooley”; and other extended family and friends.
Services were held April 29, 2023 at Evangelist Center Church, Shawnee, OK with Reverend Todd Tiffin officiating. Burial followed at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
