Michael Day Barrett passed away on April 28, 2023. Michael was born December 14, 1949 in McLoud, OK, to Billy (Buddy) and Sue Barrett.
Michael was drafted into the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and served two years on the USS Guadeloupe. After his service, he attended Rose State College in Oklahoma, earning two associate degrees in History and Psychology. Michael was a supervisor at Tinker Air Force Base. Mike married Faye Culwell on June 25, 1987, in Shawnee.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Faye; brother, Jon Barrett; sister, Susan Barrett Baca; sons: Jeff Culwell (Tamara), Harrah, OK, and Scott Michael Barrett, Los Angeles, CA and granddaughter Mya Culwell.
Mike’s family held a memorial visitation on May 5, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service.
