Shawnee seniors Anna Jordan, left, and Mia Jennings played #1 Doubles in state competition, May 5, and lost their first round to the fifth-seed Duncan. They kept their season alive by defeating Grove - 6-0, 6-3 - in the first round of consolations. On May 6, they lost to Riverfield, 3-6, 4-6. Shawnee juniors Bella Koepke and Lexy Canaday played #2 Doubles at state and also lost their first round to the fifth-seed Duncan. "They then lost a hard-fought match down to the wire against Ardmore, 6-3, 1-6 (4-10)."
