It has been five years since Shawnee’s half-cent sales tax passed in June 2018.
And the public was apparently ready to see its promised results.
KidSpace Park - the first in the Parks Master Plan to be renovated - held its Grand Opening on June 23-24.
Located on Center Street, the 7.6-acre park brought hundreds of people to try out the state’s third largest such attraction.
