Zelpha B. Good passed away July 2, 2023.
Zelpha was born November 29, 1935 in Norman, OK, to Della (Brumet) Haggy Gunter.
She graduated from Central High School. She was the first in her family to graduate high school, and to go to college.
She married Rev. Jackie Dale Good on May 29, 1954 in Prague, OK. After marriage she became the wife of a pastor for sixty years and worked for many years as a nurse’s aide.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Jackie Dale Good Sr.; her mother; and three sisters: Elsie Wasson, Lilly Thomas, Sue Dibbler; and brother, Jimmy Gunter.
She is survived by two children, Jackie Dale Good Jr. of Shawnee, OK and Reba Smith of Shawnee; three grandchildren, Caleb Adams, Trent Adams, and Danielle Smith; brother; Raymond Haggy, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
