Teddy (Ted) Hale passed away on Thursday, Agust 24, 2023. Ted was born on May 3, 1940 in Shawnee, OK to Ira and Lilly Lorean (Hendley) Hale.
When Tedy was 16, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Following his time in the service, Ted worked off and on in the oil fields for 25 years. However, for the last 30 years, Ted worked as a barber at his own barber shop in Madill, Oklahoma retiring in 2019.
Ted was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, siblings, Dolores Martindale, Billy Clyde Hale, and Helen Gross, children, Ricky Wayne “Bones” Deatherage and Teddy Brent Hale, and his grandson, Robert Paul Deatherage.
Ted is survived by his wife, LaDon Hale of the home, his children, Terri Thompson of Shawnee, OK, Cheryl and Steve Murdock of Tecumseh, OK, Angela Hale of Shawnee, OK, Dusty Hale of Tecumseh, OK and Kelly Buchanan of San Antonio, TX, many grandchildren, especially his granddaughters, Kandi and C.J., several greatgrandkids, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
Services were held on August 28, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery.
