People of all ages enjoyed touring the Chinook Cargo Helicopter (CH47) F Model during Cops N’ Kids at the Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center on Aug. 26. Flown by U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer 5 Mike McGill with the help of Flight Engineer First Sgt. Robert Calvert, the helicopter traveled from Lexington, OK, and tried to get to the event early so it wouldn’t cause havoc. The CH47 was the Cops N’ Kids Mystery Display this year. Cops N’ Kids was back for its fifth non-consecutive year, offering several new surprises at the Heart of Oklahoma Expo Center on Aug. 26.
The biggest surprise was that its “Mystery Display” was a Chinook Cargo Helicopter (CH-47) F Model, which flew out of Lexington, OK, and arrived early so as not to blow away the other attractions.
