Ruby Elaine Rath passed away September 22, 2023.
Ruby was born June 24, 1950 in Prague, OK, to James Carroll Gilbert and Josephine Elizabeth (Knucklos) Lane.
She married Wayne Rath Jr. on December 1, 1991 in Oklahoma City, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James “Jimmy” Monroe Gilbert; and sister, Bonnie Gilbert.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Wayne Rath, Jr. of the home; two daughters: Anna and Robert Sanchez of Shawnee, OK and Amy and Gregg Elledge of Lindsay, OK; One son: Bryan and Criss Rath of Tecumseh, OK; six grandchildren, Elaina and Mataeo Anderson, Payton Sanchez, Riley Rath, Amanda and Austin Webb, Harley and T.J. Qualls, and Braxton Rath; one great-great grandchild, Kaeden Padilla; two sisters, Carrol and Lony Marshall of Macomb, OK and Darla Harrison of Arlington, TX; three brothers, Clifford and Cathy Gilbert of Sand Springs, OK, Darrell Lane of Shawnee, OK, and Laddie and Kay Gilbert of Shawnee, OK; and other extended family and friends.
Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Sharon Baptist Church with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
