Brenda Drake passed away on November 1, 2023.
Brenda was born September 6, 1952, in Shawnee, OK to Leo and Georgia Teafatiller.
She graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1970.
Brenda worked for many years at Sunset Estates before working at Shawnee News Star until her retirement in 1998.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil “Shorty” Drake; parents; brother, George Teafatiller; and sister, Toni Eddings.
Survivors include her daughters, Christina Brock of Tecumseh, OK and Jodi Brock of Shawnee, OK; grandsons, Drake Plunkett and wife Jonelle of Meeker, OK and Gunnar Enochs; greatgranddaughter, Addalynn Plunkett; sister, Patricia Cockrell of Plano, TX; sister-in-law, Nancy Teafatiller of Tecumseh, OK; and other extended family and friends.
Per Brenda’s wishes no formal services will be held. Cremation arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. There will be no viewing.
