Pastor Wayne Heins and wife, Donna Heins, spoke about their experiences ministering to the Homeless. Donna also revealed she had once been homeless.
McLoud Mayor Daniel McClure (also an attorney) spoke to the audience about the 9th Circuit rulling that removing a person out of a park (or other public setting) and charging them with a misdemeanor could possibly be a violation of the United States Constitution. He said there are radical attorney groups that will take these cases and sue the local governments which costs the taxpayers. A new case currently being followed (Brown vs City of Phoenix) could change that rule. Countywide & Sun/Suzie Campbell
