Marion Elizabeth Miles passed away Nov. 24, 2023.
Marion was born Oct. 31, 1934 in Concho, OK to Harold and Josephine Miles. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1952. She worked for several years doing factory work but while doing so, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree from O.B.U. and a Master’s Degree from O.U.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters: Marion Denise Bettis and Melissa Jo Chisholm, a grandson, Justin Garrison, and a sister, Roberta Miles.
Survivors include two children, Robin Garrison of Shawnee, Robert Miles and partner Leah Chaffins of Lawton, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members and friends.
Services were held Dec. 5, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery.
