Bob Tomlinson passed away on Dec. 21, 2023. Bob was born September 23, 1936, in Shawnee, OK, to Jack Samuel Tomlinson and Walsie W. (Jordan) Tomlinson. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1954. He married Janice “Jan” (Goins) in Texas in 1972. Bob started his own business “Bob’s Electric” in 1971 and owned and operated the business for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Thelma Hardin, a brother: Jesse “Dick” Tomlinson, and an infant brother: Glenn Tomlinson.
Survivors include his wife Janice “Jan” Tomlinson of the home, four sons: Bryan Wayne Tomlinson and Kelly of Tecumseh, Robert “Sam” Tomlinson and Melissa of TX, Daniel Ted Schooley and Sally of TX, and George William Schooley and Sonja of AZ, eight grandchildren: Bryan Robert and Julia Tomlinson of Tecumseh, Dustin and Audrie Tomlinson of Tecumseh, Abigale Grace Tomlinson of TX, Christian Logan Tomlinson of TX, Kayla Lopez of TX, Kris Schooley of TX, Devin Neaves of AZ, and Ty Humpres of AZ, two great-grandchildren: Sean Lopez and Samantha Lopez of TX, one brother: John Lynn Tomlinson and Virginia of Shawnee, a sister-in-law: Janice P. Tomlinson and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Memorial services will be at 10am Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at Walker Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating.
